You've already heard of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . There's even !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . But surely there are more sports and/or super cars that can rally...right?

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Now, besides the R35, all the cars I've linked started life as a circuit-based GT3 car. But with the amount of GT3 cars present in races around the world, surely the R-GT regs can allow for more (MOAR) rally cars rally cars based on their kind.

And I am serious when I say the BMW Z4 GT3 in the header looks, sounds, and acts the part. Its' got an easy-to-get-dirtied-on white paint, it's got all of the fenders, the wings, and a V8 in front so the back can do the flick on its own.

But my actual answer would be a Ferrari 458 GT2.

The good thing is that a rallying 458 GTE is alone when it runs in the one-lane dirt track. The bad thing is that... well, uh, let's just say that if the 458 lost one target, it'd try in earnest to find another. But I digress.

Of course, you've got a better idea. But that car has to be competing in GT3/GT2/GTE grids, which is the basis for the R-GT cars.

Don't be so exclusionary to the old school group B/group 4 era. That had by far the best spread of cars that were both GT road cars and WC rally cars. That's the thing about the R-GT rules - sure you get a few oddballs but it isn't the same as it used to be.

And fine since you want R-GT cars so bad, here's a vantage

OK. I take it, I consider it, I respect it. All of it. But I'm asking for what GT2/GT3 car currently running in, say, the Blancpain GT Endurance Series, can be well-converted to something that can fir the R-GT regs.

If you put your mind to it, I think most of them can fit the regulations. The question is which ones will be converted. And which ones will actually be used on offroad rallies and not just tarmac ones like targa tasmania. I like tarmac rallies, don't get me wrong, but I loved the 80s rally period where you had mid enigned sports cars catching air on the safari rally stages.

Well, I concede.

I shall now give you an Audi R8 LMS ultra. Don't mind the blue stripes and the Real Madrid text and logo.
